      Tired of hearing your parents say you get nothing out of playing games? Here’s a chance to prove them wrong. The Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 is back for the second year, featuring Dota 2 and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) tournaments.

      There will be participants from 16 countries vying for the US$400,000 (RM1.6mil) prize pool at the event that will be held from Feb 15 to 17 at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand next year.

      Here is how you can get a shot at representing Malaysia at the event. First, you need to participate in the national level of the Dota 2 and PUBG competitions with a total of RM100,000 prize pool.

      There will be six qualifiers held at Mineski Teluk Cempedak Kuantan, M&M Premium eSports Café Ipoh, Mineski Arena Johor, Mineski Setiawangsa KL,必发88 Mineski Arena Kajang and Eternity eSports Penang, as well as four online qualifiers for the Dota2 tournament.

      Those who qualify will meet for the grand finals on Nov 2-4 at One Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya. The winning team at this event will take home RM25,000 in cash prize and more.

      As for those interested in competing in PUBG, there will be four online qualifying rounds that will be held on Sept 必发88官网 29, Sept 30, Oct 14 and Oct 15. The top five squads from the qualifying rounds will face off at the grand finale in Empire City Mall, Damansara Perdana on Oct 27-28 where the winner (winner, chicken dinner) will go home with RM4,000 cash and a Predator Aethon 500 keyboard.

      The winners of the Dota 2 and PUBG tournaments will then represent Malaysia at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2019.
